Introducing our new Rabbi, September 2025

Rabbi Elisha Herb brings to Congregation Emanu-El a deep passion for Jewish learning, spiritual practice, and community building. He has guided congregations through meaningful ritual, thoughtful teaching, and compassionate pastoral care.

Rabbi Eli is committed to Conservative-stream Jewish values and to practicing and teaching halakha in ways that honor tradition while speaking to the needs of today’s Jewish community.

He is especially devoted to promoting inclusivity, interfaith dialogue, and social justice, while nurturing a sense of connection to Jewish tradition and creativity.
